Adi Kapyare Koottamani - Review

Its always an uneasy feeling watching movie at Gold Souk, Vytilla. But when you are the last minute ticket booker, you get seats only here and the only possible advantage is that its near to my home. But I would rather love to go to Cinemax instead of this wretched place where you have to walk in through a dirty back side step and come back through the same. Next time I go there i will post a few pics of this wonderful entry way to Gold Souk Cinemas.

Actually I had wanted to see Charlie, but as usual, no tickets so we settled with Adi Kapyare Koottamani. The movie posters seemed good , like comedy movie and I even liked Dhyan Sreenivasan in this previous movie Thira with Shobana. He has proved his versatility in the movie keeping up the expectations of being the son of the great Actor Sreenivasan.

The movie starred Dhyan Sreenivasan, Aju varghese, Neeraj Madhav, Another new guy in lead roles with Namitha Pramod. The whole movie whatsoever is set entirely in a college hostel. Wonder where the hostel is, looks really historical and grandeus. Namitha Pramod is the daughter of some big gunda leader and she pays Dhyan to get into the hostel. The whole story is mended around how he and then later others too join in getting her out of the hostel without the warden, Mukesh knowing about it. The reason why she got into the hostel seemed hilarious and stupid enough,  but that had given a good edge to the story line.

The movie has a good shot of instant comic locations and some very poorly unnecessarily included comic elements which had nothing comic about it. The thing that seemed rather annoying was that throughout the movie there is whisky bottles and drunk youngsters. It might be the truth of wats happening in the world, but these days movies have too much of it.

But in  a whole, there is no story line as such, debut director has a done a good job in making people laugh the final scene is outrageous on the whole. It was a feeling like" what the crap"

I am of the kind who likes a little story,  and felt like should have watched Charlie instead.
