A Court of Thrones and Roses by Sarah J Maas

Have a look at the book trailer here

This is the official trailer you can tumble over several an-made trailers while searching on Youtube. I was as usual recommended this book by my niece-in-law and she seemed rather fascinated by the book and was intensely reading the series online. So i just felt that this kind of fictious and fascinating story was my type of story like and I was still waiting for Cassandra Clare to release her new book. So I thought this would be a good diversion.
The Court of Thrones and Roses is all about a Fairie kingdom and how they are attacked by a power loving enemy fairies. There is the central character of the book, the brave and courageous Feyre who is the only money source of a family that was left devastated due to life situations. She went into hunting in the woods for food and then to sell the hide. And the initial story line connected the character of Feyre with Katniss Everdeen of Hunger Games and I was of the notion that this is going to be like dystopian novel. Bt it did not, the exact time of taking place is not sent out in the book, (or probably I just skipped it out somewhere).

The girl Feyre in a hunting expedition during the winter, kills a wolf who actually turns out to be a fairie. The fairie lord comes looking for the murderer of his subject and demands Feyre to go with him as a part of treaty. She could either die there or go with him to the palace. In some places which she is in the mansion of the fairie High Lord, the story line seemed to rather drag along with no great revealings for about 5-10 pages. I have developed a bad tendency to every other fiction and fantasy story to Cassandra Clare Mortal and Immortal instrument series. Int hese books, the mysteries unfold in a flowy manner and you are never left to stay aloof over finishign the book. I have spent endless never ending days to finish the Cassandra Clare series, simply due to the sheer elegance of displaying matter.
